Recently we have been contacted by some former clients who have been denied entrance to Canada because of prior DUI's.  In Canada, a DUI is a felony punishable by up to 5 years in the penitentiary.  After 9/11, Canada, like the U.S., strengthened their entry requirements.  Even Court Supervision has resulted in the denial of entry to Canada.  It is advisable to contact an immigration attorney, or an attorney in Canada to rectify this problem.   There does appear to be some relief available.  More information can be found at the following website: http://www.1800duilaws.com/article/…
